Can Skyflakes make you fat?

Can Skyflakes make you fat?

Yes.

Unless they’re Skyflakes crackers with Flaxseed! We are that much closer to a world with vitamin-c infused pork.

The original Skyflakes crackers were part of my wholesome diet growing up as a fat, brown-American kid; a sky-flaky product imported from a faraway land I only knew about in my dreams. Today however I’ve discovered Skyflakes FIT, combined with flaxseed which has Omega-3 fatty acids! So that’s the oily residue on my fingers. Cool!

What I like most of all is that the company circled its cholesterol nutrition fact on the packaging. Hey so it has 0 cholesterol which means I can eat this all day and even substitute rice, vegetables, and protein. Right?

It turns out I’m not the only one asking this important question. Yahoo! Answers user “Bunbananabun” asked the question “Can skyflakes make you fat?” and the chosen answer submitted by “Roszi Love” was profound and informative: “oh no! I hope not. I am enjoying myself eating 1 pack of skyflakes for my 3pm snack time…”

Here is my recipe for Skyflakes crackers with Flaxseed. If you live outside the Philippines you’ll have to improvise by using locally sourced currency and transportation.

Ingredients

  • 8 tablespoons of one (1) peso coins (about 8 peso coins)
  • 40 peso bills
  • 1 to 2 jeepney rides
  • 1 teaspoon of salivation (locally called “laway”, to reduce dryness of crackers in your mouth)

Instructions

  1. Wait until it is merienda time and you’ve run out of things to eat.
  2. Head to the closest supermarket.
  3. Purchase one (1) pack of Skyflakes Crackers with Flaxseed.
  4. Eat it.

Looks like our question hasn’t been answered. I’ll go back to eating real food now. After I eat this whole package.
