Bisaya words I learned in Bohol
Here are a few bisaya words (with english translations) that i’ve learned so far. I compiled them into a short video below. My bisaya has a long ways to go!

- Mangga ug bagoong: mango and fermented shrimp

- Bangka: outrigger canoe
- Pritong tinai: fried chicken intestine
- Merkado: market

- Kuyog ta sa Bohol!: let’s go to Bohol!

I also tinkered a bit with sampling an old Boholano song called “Ang Bolanon” (meaning “the Bolanon,” or people from Bohol) which I then used for music in the video. It’s been a while since I’ve made beats so it was nice to do it again while sampling this old Boholano song.
Listen to the original song performed by the Mabuhay Singers here.
Daghang salamat, amping diha bai! Many thanks, take care friend!
