I remember when, I remember, I remember when I lost my mind…

I remember when, I remember, I remember when I lost my mind…

Wow I still love that song. Its been a crazy month; looking for work while trying to go back to school. This is why I will be getting drunk next weekend at a conference organized by people from my mom’s home province/island of Bohol.

The Confederation of Boholanos in USA and CANADA (CONBUSAC) are holding the conference in San Francisco on July 27 and 28 at the Holiday Inn on Van Ness Ave. The talent show portion is free but I should be able to “hook you up” for the “un-free” events too. Don’t tell my uncle I said that though. I’ll be there eating and reminiscing about the Philippines, drinking gin and juice until my insides are outside. We might even visit a club one night too. Regardless if you’re from the Philippines or Iraq, holler at me via email if you need more nimfo, I mean info. If you are from Bohol, feel free to join the “Taga Bohol, ya Heard?” Myspace or Xanga groups.

“Boholanos not only can savor once more the camaraderie that engulfs each and every one of us, but more so contribute towards the more noble purpose of helping the people of Bohol.”

Ted Apalisok, TANOCAL President

(Add the words “…And giving Filipeanut a designated driver,” and we’re set.)
