Pixelated Pacquiao. And berks!
January 27, 2012
As the generation of 8-bit Nintendo and Sega gamers get older I can’t help but notice the world bring back the “nostalgia of the pixel” in different ways. So I took some aspects of video games I played as a child, Filipeanut-ized them, and took photos of them via Instagram as I created the art.
“Little Brown Mario Brother”
“Pixelated Baclayon Church”
“Lemme see yo pixel face!”
“Halo. Halo?”
“Contra-BIDA”
I then decided to slowly use all these illustrations to create a music video for a song called “Pinoy Gamer”. Work in progress!
In the meantime check out my art in different barrios of the Internet below. And F**K SOPA! Only I censor myself, not anyone else!
