Sagada woven bags I bought

Sagada woven bags I bought

Initially I thought there was only one weaving shop in Sagada, but it turns out there are several, perhaps more. Sagada Weaving is the first of these weaving shops you’ll find and it’s the biggest. Possibly because it is the oldest, having started in the 1960’s.

There I found this perfect green bag that fits my smaller sketchbook and other drawing supplies for P350 pesos ($7 US)

In addition to Sagada Weaves, you’ll find other weaving shops down South Road after the tourism office. There we found another shop called Sagada Indigenous Handicraft, where I ended up getting this bag for my bigger sketchbooks, as well as my tablet for P450 ($9 US).

Realizing I was getting carried away (and spending my food budget on bags), I stopped there. If only they made edible bags.
