Trese
Meet Alexandra Trese with the Kambal (twins) Crispin and Basilio. Trese is a comic where Alexandra solves murders at “ABC-ZNN” or slays zombies in Makati. The animated series comes out on Netflix this week, and is based from the comic written by Budjette Tan and drawn by Kajo Baldisimo.
I’m just now hopping on the Trese bandwagon, after all the hype prior to the long-awaited launch of the animated series. I mean, I’ve seen and browsed the Trese books almost every time I visited the comics or Filipiniana section of National Bookstore through the years. But I always gave myself a reason not to get them (low funds, no time to read), until marketing on the Netflix series was launched. It was really good marketing. So after looking around online for comics, I found Trese 1 & 2 on Shopee.
