Soon after the COVID-19 pandemic, I was tasked to create artwork to advocate how our elderly have been affected.
Lot’s of issues now in mainstream media, but these issues have been cooking for sometime now.
Manila has been on lockdown since March 16, and like many around the world, we’ve been at home.
Growing up my mom always made champorado when we were still in the US. Today I cook it up as artwork.
That’s a mouthful! I finished my first set of Filipino food art featuring Filipino Sign Language and Baybayin.
This was my first time attending, but it turns out it’s the country’s largest and longest-running visual arts show.
I’d like to highlight some of the fresh and fried batons of goodness I had this past month.
We just visited Danjugan Island, a 30 min bangka ride from the island of Negros.
